Saturdays 7:00 AM - 8:00 AMMen's Prayer

Zero Dark thirty is a Saturday morning men’s prayer fellowship. Jesus rose early each day to spend time in prayer with the Father (Mark 1:35). We are called to follow Jesus’ example (1 Peter 2:21; 1 John 2:6). When Jesus washed the disciples’ feet He said He was giving them an example to follow. He said His disciples would be blessed if they followed that example (John 13:15-17). If that was true in the service of washing feet, can it be any less true in following Jesus example of prayer?

Zero Dark Thirty is our attempt to answer Jesus’ call to pray. This is a time where for an hour early Saturday mornings the men of Calvary Chapel of Hope come together to pray. After our time of prayer we enjoy breakfast and fellowship together. Then we depart for our day spiritual invigorated. Come join us for prayer in the presence of the Lord.

In His service, by His grace, for His glory,

Pastor Claude

THE VISION

The scripture: Isaiah 62:6 (NKJV)  I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent,

This scripture will serve as the backbone of the men’s meeting. We are to proclaim the name and work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in every arena that He has us in – marriage, work, play, family time, time with friends, etc. The men’s meeting is a place where I hope the Holy Spirit will foster a sense of accountability, relationship, and allow us to “recharge our batteries”. By establishing Godly male relationships, it is my prayer that the Lord will provide a wellspring from which encouragement, understanding, and most of all, productivity, will sprout.
